ECL-2.0 is an open source license that complies with the Open Source Definition.
In order to legally publish source code in the CollectionSpace repository, the Museum of the Moving Image LYRASIS needs permission from the creators of the code and from the organizations for which they work. The following agreements are provided for this purpose:

All content presented by the CollectionSpace program team on the wiki and CollectionSpace.org website is licensed via the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License. This license allows users to: share, copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format; and adapt, remix, transform, and build upon the materials. Users may do so for any purpose, even commercial. Users must give appropriate credit upon reuse (name of the creator and attribution parties, a copyright notice, a license notice, a disclaimer notice, and a link to the material), provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.
