Introduction

A cohesive Look and Feel is being developed for the CollectionSpace project that incorporates a consistent and intuitive User Experience. These compositions are in an iterative design process where small changes are being made on a weekly basis. Currently, the CollectionSpace wireframes have become a very basic but inappropriate look and feel for the first few releases and these thought-out compositions will soon replace the design of the demo in an upcoming release.

There were three preliminary look and feel compositions posted to the community at our mid-year all hands meeting. From these three it was decided that composition #3 would be the basis of future development. From here, the design team has been updating the look and feel to reflect changes in design and then to ultimately replace all upcoming wireframes with this updated look.
