As part of its commitment to building a true community-designed and supported collections management solution, the project team hosted two community design workshops. The first workshop, held at the University of Toronto in March 2008, focused on requirements gathering and functionality. The second workshop, hosted by the Museum of the Moving Image in May 2008, focused on workflow, interface, and user experience. The results of the workshops formed the basis of a revised functional specification and blueprint for the software's underlying architecture. Attendees at the community design workshops form the core of the project's functional, technical, and accessibility working groups. A third workshop, to be hosted by the University of California, Berkeley, is being planned for the spring of 2009.
